C'Mon Colon

So Colon McNickle is running an office pool about
me. He might as well be running pools because being a journalist
isn't really his profession. C'mon Colon, if you were a real
journalist, you wouldn't work for the Tribune-Review. I'll venture a
guess that no real newspaper will ever look to hire you after your
days as Dick Scaife's lackey (new word for you, Colon). And don't
conduct any polls on who's the most reviled person at the Trib
because from what I'm hearing you are the hands-down winner.
But I digress.
Colon, you have it backwards. Kim Ward won't be a
"flunky" for the Trib; your paper has already been her "flunky". You
gutless chumps cannot even let your readers know that your publisher
funneled at least $62,500 through the Republican State Committee to
try to defeat the Tom Ceraso and I in the recent county
commissioners election. Why not let your readers know the truth?
Maybe they'd start realizing the nonsense you write about county
government is all printed with an agenda in mind?
You are accusing me of writing "wacky" letters to
your paper? Well, if you mean like the one I sent this week
correcting your editorial ignorance about how we spend bond issue
money, I guess you got me. But why not publish them unedited and let
your readers decide? You or carpetbagger Bob Pellegrino, the New
England whiz kid, write stuff that is just plain wrong. Shouldn't
the public know that you two are clueless about county government?
I've offered Pellegrino the opportunity to visit and actually learn
about county government but he said you keep him chained to his
desk. Well, I'll make the offer to you too, even though you are not
a registered voter in Westmoreland County. Come and actually learn
something.
But I have a question, Colon. Why do you consider
yourself "credible and intelligent" opposition? Aren't you supposed
to be an editor of a newspaper that is fair and maintains its
integrity? I guess your publisher made it clear that wasn't the case
when he funded the Republicans' negative attacks on us.
But to keep you happy I'll close with some of your
favorite phrases. You "sore losers" at the Tribune-Review "spewed
garbage" and "spread lies" like "pathetic lap dogs" and you "can't
get over it, babies." Can you?
