09/11/06 - Tom joins local business leaders at Westmoreland County College for a presentation by state Revenue Secretary Greg Fajt (third from left) on business tax reform initiatives.
 

 
04/18/06 - After speaking at the "green-breaking" for the new GreenForge Building, Tom poses with WCIDC Executive Director Larry Larese,  state Department of Environmental Protection Secretary Katie McGinty and Westmoreland Conservation District CEO Greg Philips. The  GreenForge project is rehabbing a building along Donohoe Road in Hempfield Township, using "green" technologies.
 

 
3/10/06 - Cassie Fait, a 7th grade student at Hempfield's Wendover Middle School, receives a Fire Prevention Award from Commissioner Balya. The annual contest is co-sponsored by the Westmoreland County Commissioners.

2/10/06 - Tom cuts the ribbon for Total Industrial and Packaging Corporation's
new facility in Arnold. The company will initially employ 150 workers, with plans to expand to 400 new jobs.
 

1/3/06 -- Tom administers the oath of office to Greensburg City Councilman Wayne Johnson.

1/3/06 - Following the swearing-in ceremony, Tom joins Greensburg City Councilman Wayne Johnson (with wife, Nancy, and son, Jacob) for a photo to mark the event.
